The best first step is understanding how to build a business properly before you invest in forming one. The Masterclass ($499) covers all nine phases of business ownership through video training and PDF materials — fully self-paced.

The Journey to Success System™ is MAC’s step-by-step roadmap guiding founders from initial planning through advanced multi-entity structure. It covers eight active phases: business planning, registration, identity, branding, funding, bookkeeping, compliance, and protection.

Phase 9 (annual compliance) is available a la carte after program completion.

No, but we strongly recommend it. The Free Business Diagnostic helps you understand where you stand and which program will best support your goals. It takes just a few minutes.

You don’t need experience — you need a willingness to learn. The Masterclass was designed for people starting from scratch. It covers business fundamentals at a foundational level so you understand the full process before you build.

Everything is delivered through the MAC Client Portal, including onboarding steps, document uploads, task tracking, and communication with your team. Masterclass and Momentum access are hosted in the Heartbeat community.

Business Formation

MAC supports business formation in all 50 states. Pricing and requirements vary based on state filing fees, which are always separate from MAC’s service fee and passed through to you at cost.

MAC’s Start a Business service is $99 + state filing fees. State fees vary by state and are always a separate line item — MAC never marks them up.

MAC primarily forms C-Corporations. C-Corps offer the strongest separation between owner and business, the most flexibility for funding and investors, and are the foundation of MAC’s multi-entity structure strategy.

LLC to Corporation

Many business owners form an LLC believing they’re automatically separated from their business. In reality, most single-member LLCs are “disregarded entities” — the IRS sees you and your business as the same thing. A properly structured C-Corporation creates true legal and financial separation.

Learn more about conversion →

A disregarded entity is a business the IRS does not recognize as separate from its owner for tax purposes. A single-member LLC is typically treated this way — meaning the business’s income, losses, and liabilities flow directly to you personally. This is one of the main reasons business owners convert to a C-Corporation.

Learn about your structure options →

An LLC is created under state law and is often chosen for its simplicity — but it has significant limitations for funding, business credit, and long-term protection.

A C-Corporation is a fully separate legal entity that can own assets, build its own credit history, raise capital, and provide genuine liability protection when operated correctly.

It depends on the state where your LLC is registered. Some states allow direct statutory conversions in a matter of weeks; others require additional steps that take longer. If your conversion is part of a Legacy Builder program, it typically adds 8–10 weeks to the overall timeline. Your team will give you a specific estimate during onboarding.

Start the process →

Not always. The process depends on the laws of the state where your LLC is registered. Some states allow direct statutory conversions; others require dissolution and re-formation. MAC will assess your situation and advise on the best path.

Contact us to discuss your options →

In most conversions, a new EIN is required. The business itself doesn’t start over — the age of your business is generally determined at the state level, and most banks and lenders recognize the transition. Your team will guide you through the EIN process as part of the conversion.

MAC’s Convert a Business service is $199 + state filing fees. State fees are always separate and passed through at cost.

Business Funding

There are many ways businesses obtain funding, including:

  • Revenue-based financing
  • Business credit and credit lines
  • Bank financing
  • Equipment financing
  • Vendor credit
  • Investor capital

At MAC, building a business credit profile is a key phase of the Journey to Success System™ — it’s built into every Legacy Builder program.

It depends on the funding source. Many lenders require personal credit checks, especially for new businesses. However, some funding opportunities — particularly revenue-based programs and business credit lines — focus entirely on the business’s own credit profile. Building strong business credit starts with having the right entity structure from day one.

Revenue requirements vary by funding source. Some programs have minimum requirements; others evaluate processing volume, time in business, or financial statements. Starting with the right business structure — proper entity, EIN, business bank account, and an active credit profile — puts you in the best position to qualify.

It varies by program. Some opportunities require several months of business activity and revenue history. The key is starting correctly: a properly formed entity with an active business bank account and payment history builds the foundation faster than operating as a sole proprietor or disregarded LLC.

Stripe Capital is a funding program offered through Stripe to eligible businesses that process payments on the Stripe platform. Rather than a traditional application, Stripe evaluates your processing activity and may extend a funding offer directly through your dashboard. Repayment is structured as a percentage of your Stripe revenue.

Taxes

Yes. Personal tax services are available to the public and delivered through the MAC Client Portal.

View tax services →

Yes. MAC prepares corporate tax returns for single-entity and multi-entity clients.

View tax services →

Legacy Builder II includes one corporate tax return. Ultimate Legacy Builder includes multiple returns. All other clients can access tax services a la carte through the MAC Client Portal.

All documents are uploaded directly into the MAC Client Portal. Once uploaded, your team will review them and follow up with any questions.

Registered Agent & Compliance

A registered agent is your business’s official point of contact for state and legal notices. Every corporation and LLC is required by law to have one. Missing critical notices can lead to administrative dissolution of your company.

Learn more →

Yes. Registered agent services are included in Legacy Builder I, Legacy Builder II, and Ultimate Legacy Builder. They’re also available a la carte for any client.

View compliance services →

Yes. MAC provides annual report filing, compliance tracking, reminders, and documentation support. Annual compliance (Phase 9) is a la carte for all clients — including those in full Journey to Success programs. This is legally required every year.

Wyoming C-Corps that miss their annual report face administrative dissolution within 60 days.

Learn more →

A commercial lease gives your business a professional, compliant physical address for state filings. It’s required for Wyoming corporations that need a Wyoming street address. MAC’s Virtual Office service handles this — it’s included in multiple programs and available a la carte.

Payments & Pricing

You can pay securely directly on our website at checkout using all major credit and debit cards, processed through Stripe. Some services are also available through the MAC Client Portal.

Yes. Split payment options are available for Legacy Builder I and Legacy Builder II. The total cost is the same whether you pay in full or split — payment plans are an accessibility tool, not a discount. Available options are shown at checkout in the Client Portal.

No. State filing fees are always separate from MAC’s service fees and passed through to you at cost. MAC never marks up state fees — they are always quoted as a separate line item.

Refunds follow MAC’s official terms. View the Refund Policy →

Add-ons are not refundable once processing begins.

Multi-Entity Structure

Most business owners put every activity, asset, and liability inside one company. When that company faces a lawsuit, debt, or compliance issue, everything is at risk.

A properly structured multi-entity system separates your revenue-generating activity from your assets and protections — so a problem in one company doesn’t collapse everything you’ve built.

Yes. Multi-entity formation and structure planning are included in Legacy Builder II and Ultimate Legacy Builder. MAC engineers the intercompany ownership architecture as a single integrated system — not just four separate formations.

A holding company is a separate entity that owns interests in your other companies. It protects your assets by keeping them away from the entity that carries the most daily business risk. Legacy Builder II includes a holding company as part of its four-company structure.

Yes. MAC supports multi-entity clients through task-based workflows inside the MAC Client Portal, so all your companies stay organized in one place.

Client Portal

You’ll receive an email with access instructions once you enroll or request a service.

  • Communication with your Client Success Guide

Yes. MAC’s portal uses secure, encrypted systems to protect your data.

Timelines & Process

Timelines vary by state. Most formations are processed within standard state filing windows. Your team will give you a specific estimate based on your state during onboarding.

Most Legacy Builder projects are completed within approximately 3 weeks. If your project includes an LLC-to-Corporation conversion, the timeline may extend to 8–10 weeks depending on your state. You control the pace — faster document submission means faster progress.

After purchasing, you’ll receive onboarding instructions and intake forms through the MAC Client Portal. Once your intake is complete, your team begins work. The Masterclass (included with most programs) is delivered separately via Heartbeat.

All updates are sent through the MAC Client Portal so you always know exactly where things stand.
